Dan grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his early years, he always had a knack for discovering new ideas, challenging thought processes to innovate new ways to solve problems rather than sticking to the status quo, and possessing an entrepreneurial attitude. Throughout his youth, Dan was always seeking ways to build something of his own.

It all began for Tommy as a kid when his class took a career aptitude test. Although his parents were both chiropractors, construction management emerged as the top choice. As a young student, learning about the technical aspects of the industry, he excelled in school attending Pittsburg State University, one of the nation's top schools for construction.
